How are you?

How are you?

It’s a question we are asked several times a day, and a question we usually answer generically, without much thought. “I’m OK”. “I’m good”. “Fine, thank you”. But there are times in our lives when this isn’t how we really feel at all. Sometimes life can become challenging and events may happen which leave us needing some extra support.

Perhaps there is a specific issue with which you are struggling? Or perhaps you are not fully aware of what the problem is, you just know you feel unhappy, lost or stuck? This is not uncommon and counselling offers you the opportunity to explore this further and work through your thoughts and feelings. Often the issues brought to counselling are personal and sensitive, so being able to talk them through with someone you feel comfortable and safe with is vital to you being able to make the changes you are looking for.

If you are looking to make changes in your life, you don’t have to do it on your own. As a fully qualified counsellor, I offer a confidential, safe, non-judgemental setting for you to explore the issues that you choose to bring. We will work together, at a pace that you are comfortable with. Counselling will give you the time and space that is JUST FOR YOU. You can share your story, experiences and feelings in a way that is difficult to do in everyday life. As a professional counsellor, I am trained to really listen to you, to not judge you, to be your equal, to understand you – and to help you understand yourself.

So, how are you?
